Lavenham visit led by Mary Mudd

A dozen of us enjoyed a lovely day visiting Lavenham.

Our visit to the sculpture gardens and Kate Denton’s studio was the highlight of the day and members generously donated an entry fee given to the hospice.

We sketched in the gardens which were set out in 1880 by William Biddell. The old village carp lake adds a restful dimension.

Some chose to sketch and then visit the town of Lavenham.

Check out below the lovely scenes from the Sculpted Gardens and Kate Denton’s wonderful sculptures!
