visit "Munnings Museum" with Marian Jones

What a wonderful day at the "Munnings Museum", kindly hosted by Marian Jones who managed to persuade the sun to shine as it only can in England on a Summer's day. What a stunning setting. Lunch under a marque if that is your wish, or under a parasol. Lots of the members chose to paint or sketch. Lunch was unreservedly good and very good value. Then a trip around the museum to astound us all. Hundreds of paintings and sketches and some sculpture in what was Munnings own studio ( see the picture below). Altogether a grand and inspiring day out.
