“My painting of St Paul’s Cathedral was taken from a photo that I asked my wife to take for me on her journeys.
My main aim was to capture this most recognisable of landmarks in the warm light of sunset. It was a big task, and I was still putting the finishing touches to it the day before it went to the exhibition!
I’m very happy and proud that visitors to the exhibition, and also some fellow DAS members, chose to vote for my painting. Thank you!”
