Tina Bullen

Tina Bullen is from Colchester and describes herself as an ‘artist-teacher-poet – in that order’. Her first memory is of herself painting at playschool (a work named ‘Duck Prints’), and she has been painting ever since.

She is now a multidisciplinary artist who works in many mediums, although paints (oils usually) are still her go to. Art for Tina is a vehicle; a vehicle for expression, connection and storytelling. Her work is strongly rooted within the energy found in nature and her environment, and her work captures the atmosphere of the moment.

Tina’s work invites the viewer to pause, connect with and uncover the story of a piece told through the use of colour, rhythm, symbolism and softness.
