DAS Plein Air Group ~ Thursday 8th May 2025 - Lavenham

Thursday 8th May found several DAS members travel to Lavenham for a Plein Air day.

Blessed with warm weather, members met @ the historic Guildhall Tea Rooms before going their separate ways to find their subject of choice. The market place was a popular destination with its traditional timber and brick buildings, all with individual quirks.

Lunch at the tea rooms was a welcomed break before we all went on our merry way again. Most went sightseeing, taking reference photos for a later date use whilst one ventured down the hill to paint the rape field with the steep rolling terrain.

Lavenham is full of beautiful old buildings, so many were adorned by lilac Wisteria today adding an extra charm to them.
