DAS Plein Air ~ 20 March 2026 - Sudbury

A group of us met in Sudbury on Saturday morning, starting the day with light refreshments at a local café before heading out to paint and sketch.

Sudbury offered plenty of inspiration, from riverside views and open landscapes for those painting on canvas, to characterful buildings for sketching. We were spoilt for choice, with something to suit everyone’s style.

We were especially lucky with the weather — clear blue skies and real warmth in the sun made it feel like the first true hint of spring.

As always, a varied and inspiring day, with everyone finding their own corner of Sudbury to capture. 🎨
