Interior light and shade -Thur 26th February, 2026

The optional theme of the Painting Together session of 26/2/2026 invited artists to explore the effects of depicting light and shade, particularly, but not restricted to, interior spaces. Paintings and drawings produced, using a variety of medium and styles demonstrated how light beams, reflects, refracts and dances through and around objects creating atmosphere and mood.

The theme being optional a variety of other art work was created by members attending expressing personal choices and interests. Therefore, as usual, the session gave a sociable opportunity to share, enjoy and learn from each other’s art work .
