Derek Woodhouse

Derek first got interested in copper work at school. After leaving I got involved with art students who gave me a different outlook on certain  aspects of life. The reality of life took over, I  started work in steel construction eg oil refineries shipyards etc.  Most northerly point, Firth of Forth; most southern point, Johannesburg.

When I retired copper work became a hobby. I bought a couple of domestic hot water tanks from a scrapyard. That was the start, then I found a book on Ganutell. This I incorporated into some of my copperwork.
