Marian Jones

Marian lives and works in the Stour valley and estuary which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Her main inspiration is movement and drama whether it is a boat sailing on the water or a graceful ballerina.

She aims to capture the essence of these fleeting moments in her painting.

Marian uses bold colours and a palette knife with acrylic which lends itself to working more freely on larger canvases.

Her work causes the viewer to stop and reflect and paintings provide a lasting memory.
