DAS Plein Air ~ 7 August 2025 - Flatford

An outstanding 19 members of Dedham Art Society met up today at Flatford for a plein air paint-out.

The picturesque views awaited us budding artists as we found our viewpoints to paint and create.

This beautiful hamlet was a joy to paint en plein air, and the warm weather gave us the option to meet up at the Waterside Tea Room, inside or out, for drinks and eats.

Members set up in and around Flatford, capturing scenes of buildings, landscapes, the famous Willy Lott’s Cottage, horses, a totem pole, and even a fisherman!

An inspiring selection of different mediums was painted and sketched by all.
