DAS Plein Air ~ 25 April 2026 - Frinton-on-Sea

We had a fantastic turnout for our latest plein air day in Frinton-on-Sea, enjoying a beautiful sunny spring day by the coast.

Artists worked in a variety of mediums including acrylic, gouache, watercolour, and pen and wash, and the subject matter certainly didn’t disappoint, with something for everyone; the iconic clock tower on the Greensward, colourful beach huts by the sea wall, elegant Art Deco houses, and even a striking yellow rapeseed field and views across the golf course towards Great Holland.

We started the morning with refreshments in a friendly local café, and throughout the day many passers-by stopped to chat and admire the artwork, adding to the warm and sociable atmosphere.

A thoroughly enjoyable and creative day. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
