Painting Miniature 4" x 4" or Smaller.

A really good turn out today with many of our members working on their miniature paintings.

A challenge that focused the artists on the essence of their subject. It demanded that every brush stroke has a purpose.

We learnt that with less space, contrast is key to making the image viewable from a distance.

Painting 4" x 4", we slowed down, leaned in close and found joy in the tiny details.

A number of different subjects were covered from portraits to landscapes using various different mediums, while some of our members focused on their own projects.
