Moonlight Painting

We had a great turn out today and many members explored our optional theme of Moonlight painting ( Nocturnes).

Expressive warm tones and exciting vibrant lights from landscapes, seascapes and street scenes, in many different mediums.

Artists captured the night time atmosphere and glows in subtle colours such as cool blues and warm tones.

The work produced showed the beauty and mystery of nocturne painting, creating the illusion of light from darkness.

Whilst other members worked on their own projects.

Members who attended our en plein air trip to Norwich recently, displayed an aray of their work around the Assembly room. A wonderful exhibition of work to see and it gave a gallery feel to our session.
